Media Blasters Expands Office, Distribution Space

Media Blasters, the New York City-based distributor of anime and Japanese live-action films, will be expanding to a new office and warehouse facility. According to a February 5 press release, Media Blasters has leased space at 210 Meadowlands Parkway in Secaucus, New Jersey, about 8 miles away from its Midtown Manhattan headquarters. The company plans to use this space to ramp up distribution of the dvds it releases. It announced  over a dozen new titles during last summer’s convention season. Media Blasters’ most successful recent DVD release, the Voltron: Defender of the Universe adaptation of the Go Lion anime, finished its run in December.
